Songs Of Resistance
North Essex Transformed are organising an evening of speakers, performances and a singaround on Friday 3rd March at The New Inn, Colchester from 7 to 10pm. New singers are welcome. There is a small entry fee. Tickets can be purchased from:

On Friday 17th March the Cherry Tree session in Brightlingsea will hold a second fund raising event in aid of Mind

Suffolk with be holding their Playford Dance Ball on 18th March.

April

Art Exhibition from Saturday 1st to Sunday 16th April at the Southey Green gallery in Sible Hedingham – works by Karen Cater. Open 10am-4pm each day.

A 24-hour Shanty Marathon to raise funds for the Harwich Festival will take place at The Alma Inn on Saturday 28th through to Sunday 29th April. No need to book, just turn up.
