Major events, annual and one-off events are listed in the calendar below. Details of regular meeting times for clubs and groups are shown in the relevant section of this website or can be obtained from the contacts for each of the clubs.

2024

The annual Leigh-on-Sea folk festival will not be held this year as the organisers have been unable to arrange the venues. However, we hope that it will return in the future. The Old Leigh shanty festival, however, is set to continue this year.

The EFA’s annual general meeting has been scheduled for Sunday 14th July from 2:00pm in Widford Village Hall. Please come along and support your committee.

HARWICH INTERNATIONAL SHANTY FESTIVAL

Events will be taking place all around the old town of Harwich and sailing in the harbour.
